I was there and remember being on the field at Tampa Stadium waiting for the band to come on. Also remember looking around and wondering how loud the sound was going to be as there were many additional speakers behind and around us. Never saw that before at Tampa Stadium. Maybe in 1970 at a Steve Miller concert at Curtis Hixon there were speakers in the back, but these speakers for Floyd were huge. The lights went down and the band started playing. Amazing, weird sounds I never heard from a band before. It was mytic and very listenable. I loved Floyd from that very beginning. I bought Dark Side soon after and still have the original LP. PS. I just wish I remember who I saw that concert with!

Who ever post this video. Thank you so much I've been trying to find it for many years. I was at this concert. I was at this concert right up on the grass in front of the stage . Oh my God it was one of the best concert in my whole life. The memories will live on for ever.

Was there. Heard from my cousin that saw them before that they could make the sound swirl in a circle with all the speakers they had but in an outdoor setting it didn't work.
