Review by Ramón Medina

The album Membra Jesu Nostri by Buxtehude Choir Of Radio Svizzera, Lugano Sonatori De La Gioiosa Marca, Treviso Accademia Strumentale Italiana, Verona Diego Fasolis is a stunning masterpiece that showcases the talents of some of the finest musicians in the world. The album, which features the works of Baroque composer Dieterich Buxtehude, is a collection of seven cantatas that are dedicated to various parts of the body of Jesus Christ.

The performances on this album are nothing short of breathtaking. The Buxtehude Choir Of Radio Svizzera, Lugano is in fine form throughout, delivering soaring, angelic vocals that perfectly capture the beauty and majesty of Buxtehude's music. The Sonatori De La Gioiosa Marca and Accademia Strumentale Italiana provide a rich, nuanced instrumental backdrop that perfectly complements the vocals, while conductor Diego Fasolis leads the ensemble with precision and passion.
